    No thanks. I don’t think W.A. wants to be connected to the east. In the 2008 election campaign the opposition was able to effectively use the phrase “Under Labor the state ran out of power”. Labor were voted out and a lesson learned for future governments. You can’t vote out private companies who let you down.

    W.A. has a gold-plated (that is, reliable) government-owned electricity company and a gas reservation scheme. We need more renewable energy, but we can do that ourselves.
